Physics/Maths Tutor

**Degree Applied Physics/PGCE Secondary **20 years Secondary School teaching and leadership experience **10 years Maths/Physics Tutoring experience

I am a highly experienced and enthusiastic physics and maths teacher, who has been teaching since 2003. After completing my Applied Physics degree, I went on to complete my post graduate certificate in secondary education, from Nottingham University, before taking up my first teaching post at The Robert Smyth School. After this, I then moved to Lutterworth College as Head of Physics in 2007, so have amassed many years of experience of both leading and teaching, GCSE and A-level physics.

For over ten years, I have also successfully tutored both individual students and small groups, at physics GCSE and A-level, plus also key stage 3 and GCSE mathematics.

During my teaching career, I have spent many years at middle management level, analysing exam papers and student’s responses, so have gained valuable insights into exam techniques and revision methods.

My experience in the classroom has enabled me to cover many different learning styles with many different students, so no matter what the background and level of the learner, I will always endeavour to ensure they achieve their maximum potential.
