The Cotesbach Tutoring Academy was created by teachers in order to support children's education in the local and surrounding areas of South Leicestershire.
We currently have two settings. Our main site is set in the beautiful location of Cotesbach Educational Trust at Cotesbach Hall. Our second location at the newly built Springwell Baptist Church, in the village of Whetstone.
After the long duration of non face-to-face tuition in schools during Covid, we as teachers recognised a significant lack of confidence in students preparing for and taking examinations.
Many of the teachers had already successfully ran small group tuition prior to Covid with great success, and this was clearly evidenced in their results at school. As teachers, we recognise how the extra support helps to consolidate what is already learnt in class, as well as cover areas of misunderstanding. Most of all help pupils build confidence and motivation towards their studies.
After realising what huge benefits this makes to students and truly feeling this would make a difference, The Cotesbach Tutoring Academy was created.
The Cotesbach Tutoring Academy offer dedicated private small group tuition in Math, Physics, English, Computer Science, PE, Biology and Chemistry.
We are all qualified teachers and are highly skilled and experienced in our field. We are passionate about the subjects we teach and this reflects in students' results.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer a more personalised face to face tutoring experience. Our very small class sizes between 3-6 pupils ensures our lessons are tailored to the needs of each student attending a session.
We will also be providing whole day exam sessions (9-3pm) in each subject prior to examinations, to help students to get that extra support.
(This will be open to all students, though priority will be made to those already enrolled with us.)
